About the Servers
One web server and one database server are dedicated to Mastodon and another web server is dedicated to WordPress
- Woodpecker.social has two DigitalOcean dedicated virtual servers, each with 2 Intel vCPU, 4GB RAM and 80GB NVMe SSD. The main Mastodon server software is Ubuntu Linux, NGINX, Ruby on Rails, and Mastodon. The database server software is Ubuntu Linux and PostgreSQL.
- IndigenousCreatives.social and YehudaRothschild.com are on a DigitalOcean dedicated virtual server with 2 Intel vCPU, 4GB RAM and 80GB NVMe SSD. The software is Ubuntu Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, and WordPress.
All three servers are built from scratch, configured, and maintained by yours truly.
All remote server access and design work is done with an Apple Mac Studio M1 Ultra and an Apple MacBook Pro M2 Pro. Image and graphics editing are done with GIMP and Inkscape.
All the above software is open source. All WordPress plugins used are free versions.
